Sister Lisa Gay Mitchell, age 62, a native of Sunlight Mississippi and a resident of Millry Alabama was born on December 8,1962 to the late Addie Mae Everett and George “Cliff” Craig. She departed this life December 21,2024. Lisa dedicated her life to faith, family, and service.
Sister Lisa was a devoted member of Alpha and Omega Holiness Church, where she served faithfully as an active usher. Her warm smile, kind spirit, and unwavering commitment to her church family made her a beloved presence in the congregation. Lisa’s dedication to her faith was a testament to her deep relationship with God.
Sis. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents Addie Mae Everett and George “Cliff” Craig and her sister Janet Faye Everett.
Sis. Lisa leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted husband, Yulonsky Mitchell Sr.,3 loving and devoted children, Tenecia (Marquis) Powe, Jaquellia (Antonio) Franks, and Yulonsky Mitchell Jr. 1 loving granddaughter Ashlyn Powe and Siblings Charlie (Laine) West and Rose Everett.Also a host of loving friends and family. Sister Lisa’s legacy of kindness, faith, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
