Lizzie Jackson Obituary

Elizabeth "Lizzie" Simon Jackson, a native of Leroy, AL. answered the Master's call Friday, May 10, 2019 at her Jackson residence. Lizzie was born July 9, 1926 to Laura Louise Brown Simon and Jimmie Simon; she was 92 years of age.

Accepting Christ at an early age, she united with the Jackson AOH Church of God. Lizzie loved fishing and caring for animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew Jackson; two infant children; and 17 siblings.

Left to cherish her memories are her four sons, Alphonso (devoted daughter-in-law, Shirley) Jackson and Arthor Jackson, both of Jackson, AL., Willie Jackson and Tommie Jackson both of Charleston, SC.; one daughter, Hattie Crowell of Charleston; a host of grandchildren, including devoted granddaughter Paula Clarke; many great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friend of the family, Jessie Rodgers.
