Lonnie James Manuel, a native and resident of Chatom, made his earthly transition on Oct. 5, 2021 at his residence. Born on Jan. 17, 1958 to Zack Malley and Jewel Manuel, he was 63 years of age.
Lonnie was a very quiet and kept to himself type of guy. He loved fishing, keeping himself busy doing things around the house, and enjoyed being around family and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and brothers, Joe and Charles Malley.
Left to cherish his memories are his son, Jarvis Abston of Portland, Ore.; daughter, Yvonne Wohlfart of Germany; two brothers, Terry Malley of Vancouver, Wash. and Willie Malley of Chatom; three sisters, Quester Malley and Patricia Manuel, both of Chatom, and Barbara Young of Mobile; 11 grandchildren; with a host of nieces, nephews, other cousins and friends.
