Louis Lester Robinson, Jr., a resident of Grove Hill, AL., was born June 15, 1943 to the late Nettie (Fowler) Robinson and Louis L. Robinson, Sr. He departed his earthly life on August 8, 2024 while at his home. "Lester" as he was known to most, joined Pine Chapel No. 1 Baptist Church in Grove Hill, AT in Grove Hill, AL at an early age , later joining First Church Of God #2. He remained a faithful member until his health failed. He was self - employed as a carpenter and loved his craft, having spent many of his days building , repairing, and remodeling homes, churches, and business. He approached every job with a love for craftsmanship and quality until his health no longer allowed. Lester was an extremely proud man with a giving heart who had few words; but he loved and cherished his family, friends, and loved ones. Lester was preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Vanessa Denis Robinson. He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife of over 55 years, Nonie Mae Mitchell Robinson; one daughter, Angela Robinson Peterson; three grandchildren, Tiffany NaSasha Robinson (Webster Thomas), Trinity Danielle Peterson, and Kyleigh Simone Peterson; and one sister, Marvielene Robinson. He also leaves one devoted nieces, Queen Peoples; his devoted Godchilden, the Chapman, Allen, and Harris children; a faithful family friend, Josephine Johnson; and a host of nieces,nephews, cousins, loved ones and friends.
Interment will follow in the Pine Chapel No. 1 Baptist Church Cemetery 3852 Hebron Rd. Grove Hill, AL 36451
