Luscinda Brown Pritchett, a life resident of the Walker Springs community, made her earthly transition on Friday, March 31, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Aug. 27, 1944 to Alice Sprears Brown and Promise Brown. She was an active member of Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Walker Springs.
Luscinda loved working cross word puzzles, sewing, cooking and taking care of her family. Luscinda was a member of the Harper High Class of 1962.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Alice Parker Cole.
Left to cherish her loving memories is her husband, Robert J. Pritchett of Walker Springs; her children, Benjamin (Bunessel) Brown of Walker Springs, Rayphus (Jennifer) Brown of Walker Springs, Angelia Pugh of Houston, Texas, Robin Ryan of Georgia, Charles Pritchett of Walker Springs, Charise Pritchett of Walker Springs, Valerie (Geary) James of Choctaw Bluff, LaToya Pritchett of Walker Springs and Brenda Jackson of Mobile; 22 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren; one brother, Earnest Brown of Sacramento, Calif.; with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
