Marion William Seals

Marion William Seals was a native and resident of McIntosh. He was born to the parentage of Mary Jane Johnson Seals and Howard William Seals Sr. on Nov. 28, 1953. He departed his earthly life in his home Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, surrounded by his loving wife and children. He was a graduate of McIntosh High School in the Class of 1972. Marion’s career started at Olin Corporation, where he retired following more than 40 years of employment. You could find him on his off-time enjoying hobbies such as hunting, golfing or fishing. He was such a kind hearted individual, he would help anyone in need. He was a devoted Christian his entire life. On Sept. 20, 1980, Marion and Norma were united in Holy Matrimony.

Preceding him in death were his parents and sister, Evelyn Seals.

Marion leaves to cherish his loving memories his loving and caring wife, Norma Garner Seals of McIntosh; two caring sons, Courtney (Adrian) Seals of Mobile and Kyle Seals of Pensacola, Fla.; one granddaughter, Zoelle Seals; siblings, Alfreda Washington of Brooklyn, N.Y., Pearl Seals Breech, Janet Seals, Teresa Seals Turner and Howard (Voncille) Seals Jr., all of McIntosh; brother- and sister-in-law, Cleveland (JoAnn) Garner of Jackson and Cecilia (Manuel) Godwin of Mobile; his aunt, Edna Killingsworth of Oakland, Calif.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
