Marlin Jerez Love, affectionately known as "J", was born December 27, 1983 to the union of Charles Edward Love and Bessie Lynum Love. He entered eternal rest November 1, 2024.
Jerez accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a faithful member of Glory to God Christian Center in Mobile, under the leadership of Pastors Andre and Joyce Lambert. His Church family held a special place in his heart. He appreciated all the support, love and many acts of kindness shown to him. Fellowship with his church family every week brought him joy. He remained a faithful member until his untimely passing.
Jerez Was a graduate of Clarke County High School and a proud member of the graduating class 0f 2002. He was very athletic, participating in baseball and basketball. He was also an avid fan Alabama and the Atlanta Braves. He Loved entertaining family and friends. Jerez was a fun loving and entertaining person.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Cecil Love and Eardean Pendleton and J.C. Pendleton, and Leamon and Leuna Wilson Lynum.
He leaves to cherish is memories five children, Jalen Love of Menifee, Calif., Braeden Cade, Rhys Cade and Marlyn Cade, all of Mobile, and Ayden Williamson of Leroy; devoted parents, Charles Love and Bessie Love of Sarland; one brother, Vincent Chapman of Baltimore, MD; two sisters, Shymecca Dickinson of Jackson Miss., and Jessica McDaniel of Mobile; twelve uncles, one devoted, Fernell (Brenda) Pendelton of Grove Hill; 14 aunts, four nephews, four great-aunts, one great-uncle, devoted cousins, Johnny (Melissa) Lynum 2 of Lansdowne, Va., Craig (Tiesha) Franklin of Langhorne, Pa., and Kenneth Hodge of Columbus, Ohio; with a host of cousins, relatives and devoted friends.
