Mary B. Williams Jackson, affectionately known as Mae Bell, a resident of the Gainestown community, made her earthly transition on April 23, 2024 while at Mobile Infirmary Hospital. She was born on November 24, 1955 to Jennie Fox and Nelson Williams.
Mary loved cooking and feeding people she enjoyed, four-wheel riding and traveling with her family. She just enjoyed being with her family at all times, especially her children and grandchildren. One of her most fun and enjoyable days is when the community comes together for the Soul Food Cookout and Alma Day. She really enjoyed cooking for those big days.
