Mary Louise Sellers Ervin, was born in Clarke County on June 10, 1946 to the late Henry and Mary Sellers. She was the fourth child of six. At an early age, she was baptized in to the church of Christ in Coffeeville, AL and remained faithful until death. Mary was educated at Clarke County Training School and worked as a seamstress at Vanity Fair in Jackson, AL.
Preceding her in death were three brothers and one sister: Leroy, Floyd "Pete", and Henry "Bo", and Mattie.
On May 14, 2020, God called her home for eternal rest. Left to cherish her memories forever are three children: Deborah (David) McGraw of Jackson, L. Patricia (Billy) Mitchell of Coffeeville, AL., and Willie (Shon) Ervin of Huntsville, AL; one sister, Ella Tate of Coffeeville, AL and a sister at heart, Shelia (Elbert) McCants of Jackson, AL; AL., a devoted grandson, Jamar Thompson; grandchildren, Kimberly Adams and Jermaine Slater of Jackson, AL., Keontae Ervin of Mobile, AL., and Tamara Mitchell of Coffeeville, AL.; great granddaughter, Tabatha Ervin of Mobile, AL.; two aunts, Theresa Thomas of Coffeeville and Daisey Sellers of Montcgomery, AL.; two uncles, Price Sellers of Florida and Morris Williams of Birmingham, AL.; one special nephew, Andrew (Sharonica) Tate of Phoenix City, AL., a host of devoted sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; a devoted friend, Ms. Nola Boxley of Mt. Vernon, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mary was a beautiful soul inside and out. She was a loving, caring and hardworking and a pillar for her family.
