Mary Pendleton Obituary


Mary Agnes Pendleton was born January 16, 1939 to Dozier, Sr. and Etta Ree Pendleton in Whatley, AL.  She was the oldest of seven children to bless this union.  She worked as a nurse at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital in Grove Hill, AL for twenty six years until her retirement in 1995.   She was a faithful member of the New Life Pentecostal Church of Grove Hill, AL.
     Preceding her in death were her infant daughter, Debra; parents, Dozier and Etta Ree Pendleton; brothers, Joseph Pendleton, Irvin Pendleton, and Norman Pendleton; Goddaughter, Misty Horn; aunts, Eunice Rodgers, Rosetta Pendleton, and Maggie Dickinson; uncles, Truman Pendleton, Thomas Hill, and Rev. Heary Rodgers; and niece, Daphne Pendleton.
     Mary leaves to forever cherish her memories, the very best of herself, her heart, her pride and joy, three loving and devoted children, Jerry, Maurice, and Allyson; ten grandchildren, Roderick, Sable,      Jessica, Erica, Shayla, Javara, Yasmen, E’niah, Jerrica, and Joshua with three very devoted, Sable, Shayla, and Javara; thirteen great grandchildren, Princess, KaShiaya, Damyka-my special love, Tiana, Nashana, DaMya, Brooke, Chrissette, Jada, Brent, Jr., Jordan, Tiana, and Arianna; two great great grandchildren, Lyric, and Melody; two loving and devoted sisters, Betty (Robert) Stephens and Barbara Pendleton; two loving brothers, Hilbert Pendleton, and Comie, Jr. Pendleton; two nieces, Katrina and Andrea (Keshia); five nephews, Delvin, Komel, Winfred, Marcus, and Wayne; three aunts, Bertha Ezell-devoted, Evon (Earl) Chapman, and Dorothy Rather; two uncles, Robert (Irene) Hill, and Albert (Helen) Hill; two God grandchilden, Keanta, and Kamya; lifetime dear friend, Cobbie   Robinson; adopted sister, and best friend, Ethel Evans; devoted friend, Miller D. Tarvin; forever best friend and cousin, Annie Horn; devoted pastor, Bishop T. J. Williams and New Life Church Family; and a host of loving cousins, friends and neighbors.
