Minnie Lee Jackson Williams, a resident of the Gainestown community, traded time for eternity on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. Minnie was born to the late Costella Morgan Jackson and Dan Jackson. Early in life she confessed Christ at an early age and united with St. Matthew No. 2 Baptist Church, later uniting with Gainestown A.O.H Church of God in Gainestown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Madison White Jr.; sisters, Ethel Lee Fuller, Myrtle Marie White, Hardina Jackson and Alice Foxx; her son, Terry K. Williams; grandson, Dale Lamarcus Williams; and daughter-in-law, Libby Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Jefferson Williams of Gainestown; four daughters, Hazel I. Foreman, Christine (Michael) Phillips, Glonetter (Grady) Martin and Evette (Mark) Harmon; four sons, Thomas (Tamekia) Williams, Freddie (Barbara) Williams, John (Jennifer) Williams and Robert (Alicia) Williams; one bonus son, Jimmie West; three sisters, Adline (Alex) Foxx and Ceola Jackson, both of Dallas, Texas, and Dora Winters of Gainestown; seven brothers, Bennie Jackson, Travis Jackson, Curley Jackson and Willie ( Bessie) Jackson, all of Gainestown, Charles (Patricia) Jackson and Robert (Gene) Jackson, both of Dallas, Texas, and Victor (Nikki) Darrington of Jackson; with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
