Nishika L. Napier, a native of Silas and a resident of Butler, made her earthly transition on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024 at her residence. She was born on March 5, 1987 to Brenda Napier and Lee Traylor Sr. Nishika was a Class of 2007 graduate of Southern Choctaw High School in Silas. Loved by so many, she never met a stranger. She was a resident of Forest Manor Apartments and had a great love for helping the elderly people that lived in the complex. Whether helping them fix their TV, phones, or runningerrands, she was always ready to lend a hand.
Nishika loved her family dearly!
Preceding her in death was her brother, Deon G. Causey;grandparents, the Rev. Clausell Boykin, AlmediaWoodard, Elizabeth Woodard, Lee Traylor Sr. and Arlene Turner; and uncles, Marvin Boykin, Elmore Turner, Lattie Traylor and Milton Woodard.
Left to cherish her memories is her loving mother, Brenda Napier Causey; her father and devoted stepmother, Edward (Grace) Traylor; sisters, Danielle Napier andDaphne Kirksey; brothers, Orinthell Antonio Napier, DeWayne (Shelma) Napier, Darnell (Kwanza) Napier and Lee Antonio ( Brittany) Sisng; two step-grandmothers, Autherine Boykin and Eloise Traylor; her loving niece, Ire'Anna Napier; her loving nephews, Xavier Pearson, Lee Antonio Sashington Jr., Nicholas Bivens and AmereBivens; with a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a special friend, Linda Thomas, along with many more friends.
