Ora Lee Patterson

Ora Lee Williams Patterson, a resident of Grove Hill, answered the Master's call on Feb. 17, 2022 while at Grove Hill Memorial Hospital in Grove Hill. She was born on Sept. 24, 1949 to Elizabeth Williams. A member of Pine Chapel No. 1 Baptist Church in Grove Hill, she had served on the usher board before declining health. Ora enjoyed cooking, watching her Westerns and spending time with her family and friends.

Preceding her in death was her mother; husband, Johnny Patterson; and brothers, Luther McMillan and Anthony McMillian.

Left to cherish her memories are four sons, Melvin Patterson of Atmore, John Ross Patterson and Charles (Katrina) Patterson, both of Mobile, and Johnathan (Omika) Patterson of Grove Hill; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Emma McMillan of Monroeville and Basele Oneal of Grove Hill; four sisters-in-law, Creola Wesley and Lela Patterson, both of Grove Hill, Arcola Williams of Thomasville and Malisa (Rev. Michael) Rice of Monroeville; one brother-in-law, Arthur (Tracy) Patterson of Texas; with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
