Pastor Allen Ceasar Abston was born, January 22, 1940, to the parentage of the late Willie E. & Elouise Abston in St. Stephens, AL. He transitioned from time to eternity Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Jackson Medical Center in Jackson, AL.
He married the love of his life, the late Ruthie Mae Abston and the two became one. From this union, two children were born, Michael and the late Glen Abston.
He retired from Farmers Co - Op after working there for over thirty years.
He answered the call into the ministry and served as Pastor of Lewis Grove Baptist Church for twenty-four years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, 6 siblings, and his son.
He leaves to cherish his lifelong memories, a loving and devoted son: Michael Abston of St. Stephens, AL; his loving grandsons whom he raised Quentin (Shun) Abston of Augusta, Georgia and Sam Allen Howell of St. Stephens, AL ; seven great grandchildren; seven devoted siblings: Dora (Leroy) Mitchell, Bernice Moore, Joseph (Debbie) Abston, Lenora Abston, all of St. Stephens, AL, Rachel (Issac) Jones of Axis, AL, James E. Abston of Duarte, CA, and Catherine (Lawrence) Lilly of Montevallo, AL; his devoted nieces and nephews: LaTonya (Major) Jackson,
Earlasia, Tyler and Major Jackson Jr. all of St. Stephens, AL; three Godchildren; special friends: Rev. Dell Atchison (always willing to render services), Ricky Ray Yelder (his fishing buddy), Alfred Abston and Robert Earl Howell (his hunting & fishing buddies), Clint Fikes (transportation wherever he needed to go), and Jimmy Jenkins; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
