Pearlie Mae Robinson

Pearlie Mae Hill-Robinson was born July 6, 1922 to the parentage of Henry S. Hill and Susanna Jackson Hill. She departed this life on Feb. 18, 2023 at Providence Hospital in Mobile. 

She was a proud graduate of the Old Harper High Night School Educational Program. Pearlie was a homemaker that devoted her life to her family. She enjoyed reading the Bible, canning fresh vegetables that she raised in her garden, shopping and fishing. She farmed alongside her husband of 38 years. She was a Proverb 31 woman. Pearlie Mae Robinson was a servant in many capacities through her 100 years of life. She slipped quietly into the loving arms of her Jesus.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her loving husband, Melvin Robinson Sr. , daughter , Susanna Robinson William  and 13 siblings.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Melvin Robinson Jr. and James (Lillie) Robinson; three daughters, Bonnie P. Burrell of Mobile, Annie Mae (Ronnie) Fairley of Theodore and Lorraine Griffin of Walker Springs; brother, Rev. Jordan Hill of Allen, AL; 12 grandchildren, Timeka Robinson and Melvin Robinson III, both of Walker Springs, Cornelious Williams Jr. and Gulanze De Falconer Jr., both of Mobile, Kaylan Henderson of Indiana, Shenika Robinson, Rochelle Files and Colola Files, all of Glen Burnie, Md., Derrick Williams, Reginald Williams, Vickie Armstead and Joseph Williams, all of Mobile;  17 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
