Perry Martin

Perry Martin, better known as " # 45 " to family and friends, made his earthly transition Saturday, Aug 12, 2023, while at University Hospital in Mobile. He was born Oct 30, 1962 to Everlean Chapman Martin and Willie Martin.

Perry was a resident of the Mt . Zion community of Grove Hill. He was an avid Alabama and Dallas Cowboys fan, loved to grill, fish, and hang out with his beloved family. He was a member of the Clarke County High School Class of 1983.

Preceding him in death was his parents , Everlean Chapman Martin and Willie Martin , his sister, Frankie Martin Edgar and his brother , Coma Chapman.

Perry leaves to cherish his loving memories , his wife, Melody Martin, three daughters, Alaina ( Lawrence) James of Huntsville, AL, Ebony ( Kendal ) Foxx and Utara Hughes both of Mobile,AL, five grandchildren, Skyla ,Parker, Cannon , Kennedy, and Wyatt, three sisters, Gracie Gamble of Mobile, AL, Gardenia Frazier and Emma Raine both of Grove Hill, two brothers, Archie ( Ethel ) Chapman if Cincinnati , OH and Enoch Martin of Grove Hill, AL, with a host of nieces, nephews, devoted nephews, Jonas Martin, and Reginald Martin, devoted  best friend, Devan Chapman, devoted cousin , James " Buddy" Dickinson, one aunt, Irma Martin, four sisters in law and four brothers in law, one devoted , Edward English , a very special and close friend Melodie Hughes  of Jackson, AL, other relatives and friends.
