Robert Lee West, a native of Walker Springs and resident of Mobile, made his earthly transition on June 1, 2021 while at North Mobile Rehabilitation Center in Eight Mile. He was born on Oct. 12, 1943 to Sallie Gladys Ezell West and James Alexander West.
Preceding him in death were his parents; siblings, brothers, Melvin Fredrick and Alexander West, and sisters, Martha West Davis, Mary West Lumbers and Geraldine West.
Left to cherish his memories are one sister, Ella Louise West Brown of Jackson, six brothers, Elbert West of Kissimmee, Fla., Joel Columbus West and Charlie (Linda) West, both of New York City, N.Y., Alfred West of Camden, Willie Clarence (Rosalyn) West of Fayetteville, N.C. and Prince (Renee) West of Summerville, S.C.; with a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives.
