Shundrea LeFaye McDonald, a resident of Mt. Vernon, transitioned from this life on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023 while at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile. She was born Nov. 3, 1980 to Arlene McDonald and Gerold Williams Sr. She was 42 years old. Shundrea loved singing, dancing and spending time with family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her father, Gerold Williams Sr. and grandmother, Eula Mae Abrams McDonald.

Left to forever cherish her precious memories is her mother, Arlene McDonald Clay of Jackson; three sisters, Jessica Reed of Mt. Vernon, Courtney (Kevin) Beckham and Kimberly Williams; stepsister, Kateshia (Matthew) Johnson; three brothers, Luther (DeKendra Pringle) Reed of Chickasaw, Tyler Reed and Gerold Williams Jr.; one stepbrother, Grayland (Kimberly) Johnson; a close friend, Kenneth Lindsey of Maco, Miss.; with host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
