Thelma Diane Washington

Thelma Diane Washington, a native of Alma, Al  and a resident of Gainestown, AL was born August 14, 1959 to the parentage of the late Carrie Lee Whittaker -Washington and Mc Neal Washington. Thelma answered the call from God on March 30, 2022  at Mobile Infirmary. " Boolee" , as she was  lovingly called, was a member of Gainestown AOH Church of God in  Gainestown, AL. She was united in holy matrimony to Eligha Washington Sr. and this union was blessed with nine children.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband , Eligha Washington Sr. , two siblings, two nephews, and one sister in law Earnestine Washington.
She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted and loving family; nine children, Rager ( Kathy ) Washington, Eligha Washington Jr, Steve Washington, Shareka ( Mickey) Williams , Kenny ( Martine ) Washington, Marcus Washington , Draper Washington, Latoyia Washington, and  Catrice Washington of Gainestown, Al; four brothers, Ernest ( Lurvene ) Washington, Arthur ( Van) Washington, Lendon ( Sarah Ann ) Washington, Martin Washington of Gainestown, AL ; eight sisters,  Anita ( Robert ) Williams, Vicki Washington, Victoria ( Jerome) Washington , Carrie ( Kenneth Johnson) Washington, Ternette ( Asie ) Pritchett, Mildred ( Tracy ) Williams, Wendy ( Stacy ) Jackson and Marsha Washington of Gainestown, AL; twenty grandchildren, Shakisha, IQuan, Karleena, Mickey Jr. , Raveen, Devontae , Kemontae , Ladarrius, RJ, KJ, Tyrese, Tykeria, Auriah, Shadadriah ,Yynesha, Rodney, Tyasiah, Karlee, Kylee and DJ; ten great grands, Karlise, Kaleb, Brynlee, Zyon, Cammaria, Linsley, August, Javian, Journey, Devontae Jr. ; four godchildren, Terrance ( ( Martine ) Washington, Kayla, Briana, Laketha Washington; devoted niece, Quanesia Washington; two sister in laws, Rosie ( Tecoilan ) Foxx, Callie (Clarence) Robinson; three brother in laws, Leo ( Ethel ) Washington, Bennie Jackson, and David Washington of Gainestown ,AL; four aunts, Ira Lee Hunt, Francis Hunt of Gainestown, AL, Evie Whittakerof Birringham, AL, and Marine Washington of Mobile, AL; four uncles, Dwight and Frankie Whittaker of Clevland, OH, Robert Whittaker of Saraland, AL, and Bobby Whittaker of Gainestown, Al; several sisters in love, Evangalist Mary Pugh, Nettie Hunt, Alice Jackson, Margie Fox, Robin Yelder, Mamie Williams, Cynthia Ezell, Lelia Bush, LeQuita King, Kamae Retic, Pamela Williams; devoted friends, Kendrick Jackson, Gary Bryant, Joseph Jones,Maurice Porter,and Evette Williams- Harmon ;    with a host of nieces, nephews,   other relatives and friends whom she held dear to her heart.
