Wanda Fay Gilmore

Wanda Fay Gilmore, 62, a native of Salitpa, passed away August 2, 2019 in Grove Hill AL. Wanda was affectionately known as "Fay,"  born to George Robert and Sarah Lee Gilmore on March 9, 1957. She attended the Old Clarke County Training School in Coffeeville, AL. before moving with her parents to Mobile, AL.

Fay was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Crystal Gilmore.

She is survived by her daughter, Monica "Peaches" Gilmore of Mobile; two brothers, John Swanson of Mobile and Robert Lee Gilmore of Grove Hill; one niece, Cheryl Elizabeth Swanson of Pasadena, California; aunt Cloradean Kennedy of Mobile; a sincere and devoted friend, Lora Griffin of Grove Hill; longtime friend Joe and many cousins, friends and extended family members.
