Warren Boykin was born September 18, 1950 to the union of Mattie and Roosevelt Boykin, Sr. He departed this life
Warren “Curtis” Boykin attended Prestwick High School where he enjoyed playing sports such as Track and Field anything that would challenge him to running. After school he began to work driving tucks and loved sports cars and beautiful women.
To know Curtis was to love him because he had such a great light about him. Everyone enjoyed the jokes and sounds Curtis would make when mocking an actors or even machinery: like a chainsaw. Driving trucks was also a passion of his. While driving he would shift the gears in a truck so good you would think the truck was talking.
During his free time, he enjoyed family and friends, gatherings, and good herbal essence. “If you know what I mean.” Despite later in life Curtis having a terrible accident on a job site and becoming paralyzed and non-vocal he always smiled and shined bright with personality. He had a few choice words like “BOIII” and “I'll tear ya ____ up!”
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mattie and Roosevelt Boykin, Sr.; wife, Debbie Taylor Boykins; his siblings: Chrispher Boykin, Wille Frances Boykin, and Deloris Darrington.
Curtis leaves to cherish his memories, his childen: Tracy Taylor and Warren Curtis Boykin, Jr.; his siblings: Roosevelt Boykin and Scottie Boykin, Sr.;and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
