Willie Isaiah Goodwin

Willie Isaiah Goodwin, 67 of Jackson, AL transitioned from time to eternity on January 28, 2025 while at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL. He was born on March 17, 1957 to Bethel Mitchell and Jimmy LaPrintice Goodwin. He accepted Christ at an early age. He later married Dianne James. He served as the pastor and bishop of St. Paul Pentecostal and New Beginning House of Prayer both of Jackson, AL. He was employed with Boise Sawmill for over 25 years . He was preceded in death by his wife Dianne Goodwin, his parents Bethel Mitchell and Jimmy Laprintace Goodwin. His brothers Johnny Goodwin, Leonard Goodwin, Joshua Goodwin, Andy Goodwin, Jimmy Goodwin, Leedell Goodwin, and Jesse Goodwin. His sisters Nancy Goodwin , Johnnie Mae Darrinton and Teresa Darlington. His stepfather John Darlington. 

Willie leaves to cherish his loving memories : his sons Jonathan (Felecia) James , and Decatur Goodwin of Jackson, AL ; Nicholas ( Felisa) Goodwin and Jeffery(Jakayla) Goodwin of Mobile AL. His grandchildren Jauquaylon , Jamar, Jamal, Jonathan Jr. , Derwin , Nicholas Jr. ,Lacey, Ariah, Jeffery Jr., Christian, Journey, and Kennedy. His great grandchildren Jalyah, Jamir, Ja’quayah . Very devoted brother Emmitt (Henrietta) Goodwin and very devoted sister Shirley (Jimmy Sr) Morris of Jackson, AL. A special friend Ms Shelia King. Devoted niece Dora Goodwin. Best friends Timothy Vaughn and Michael McGlasker and one God daughter Kimberly Morris and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
