Windell Dion Barnes was born August 2, 1979. He died January 13, 2019 at the age of 39.
A lover of family and friends, he loved family gatherings, cooking and playing games with his son. An avid Auburn fan, he also liked Carolina Panthers and Lebron James. He was a graduating member of the McIntosh High School Class of 1998. Windell was the owner of Barnes Concrete Service and was employed at Casey Industrial. He was very active with youth football. He was a motivator and well-loved Coach for the McIntosh Eagles football team.
Windell leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife Darlene, two children: Skylar and Tylen; four sisters: Sylvia Flott, Loren Tripp, Loletha Moore and Oriel (Brian) Logan; four brothers: D’Eldrick, Rodrick, Damion and Jonathan Ferrell; grandmother: Sarah Barnes; parents: Christopher and Janet Flott; mother-in-law: Delia West; sisters-in-law: Arleen Stephens and Marilyn (Phillip) Hill; brother-in-law Lawrence (Jessica) West, Jr.; godson: Douglas Chestang, Jr.; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
